The bottom, side, and Flange top of the Welded Seam Filter Bags for Liquid Filtration is completely welded.  No thread is used and no sewing holes exist.

Welded Seam Filter Bags for Liquid Filtration are available with a choice of three
different Welded Flange tops. 
Ring and blank tops are also available with welded seams.
All tops have molded handles:

Universal Filters Welded “P” Flange – Most common and fits most standard 7” diameter housings. Standard and High Heat versions are availalbe.

Universal Filters Welded “PF” Flange – Used in housings requiring an alternative configuration of 7” flange.

Universal Filters Welded 8" “RP” Style Flange –Used in housings requiring an 8” flange.  This Welded Seam filter bag is a unique all-welded replacement for sewn filter bags.

For applications requiring steel, stainless steel, or plastic rings, filter bags can be constructed with welded side seams and welded bottom seams.  Bypass through the welded side and welded bottom seams is eliminated.  Possible bypass through the attachment of sewn ring tops is minimal due to compression around the ring from the housing sealing mechanism.  All Welded Seam ring bags can be supplied with or without handles or tabs. Drawstring and blank tops are also available.

SIZES:   Standard Welded Seam filter bags are available in:
Number 1 size (7” x 16.5”) with welded “P” or welded “PF” Flange or ring.
Number 2 size (7” x 32”) with welded “P” or welded “PF” Flange or ring.
Number 2 RP style (8” x 32”) with welded 8” Plastic Flange.

MEDIA:   Standard Welded Seam filter bags are available with:
Glazed Polypropylene felt media in 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, and 200 microns.
Glazed Polyester felt media in 1, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, and 200 microns.

Although our standard Welded Seam filter bags are made with glazed media, plain media in many of the above micron ratings can often be provided. CONTACT US with your requirements.
